SWECHA organized a national-level hackathon; as part of this initiative, each college hosted a qualifying event, with selected students advancing to the next stage. IIITH representatives visited our college to interact with and evaluate participating students.

Smart Innovation Hackathon

Event Highlights

Smart Innovation Hackathon is the Internal Hackathon, which was organized to select/ nominate best teams for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) by MHRD. Smart Innovation Hackathon continued for 2 days in JBIET Campus
A total 35 teams participated for the Hackathon where each team contained 6 members including male and female students
A total 15 teams were selected from Hardware and Software Editions. Winners of Hardware Edition and Software edition were awarded with cash prize.

Engineer's Day

Event Collaboration: CodeHub in collaboration with Our alumni at JBIET hosted an insightful event about the importance of Engineers.
Interaction with students: Students actively participated in the session, clarified their doubts, and explored the corporate world in their own words, Students got to know the real scenarios of an engineer daily.
Website Launch Setup: Codehub Website has been launched by our Principal, gave valuable insights on engineers and their importance
Event Conclusion: The event concluded with a rapid-fire with Alumni, a day in their workspace.

Students dove into the world of Artificial Intelligence, gaining hands-on knowledge of AI Fundamentals and Advanced concepts. Participants received certification upon completion, empowering them to unlock new possibilities in AI.

Event Collaboration: CodeHub in collaboration with Shardeum at JBIET hosted an insightful event centered around blockchain technology.
Blockchain Exploration: Participants embarked on a journey into the world of blockchain, exploring the fundamental concepts of blockchain and its applications beyond cryptocurrency.
Metamask Setup: Participants set up their first Metamask wallets and delved into creating their debut smart contracts using Solidity.
Event Conclusion: The event concluded with a quiz where the top 3 participants were awarded.
